The Cardiac Science Powerheart G3 Semi-Automatic AED is reliable, simple to use. The semi-automatic AED gives a defibrillating shock at the press of a button. The rescue ready technology self-tests all main components (battery, hardware, software, and pads) daily. This unit completes a partial charge of the high-voltage electronics weekly, and a full charge monthly. It calculates electrical impedance and if subsequent shocks are needed, the STAR biphasic technology escalates the energy to deliver therapy at an appropriate, higher level.
